Meet the Norwex EnviroCloth, the do-it-all microfiber cloth that becomes your everyday cleaning MVP. Its densely woven, super-fine fibers grab and hold onto dust, grease and grime, so you can clean most washable surfaces using just water—no need for a cabinet full of sprays. At about 13.78" x 13.78", it’s easy to fold into sections and work room by room on countertops, sinks, appliances, bathroom surfaces, doors, walls and even your car. BacLock® antimicrobial technology is built into the cloth to help it stay fresher longer by inhibiting the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew inside the fibers between washes. Rinse, wring and hang to dry after use, then toss it in the laundry regularly to keep it ready for the next round of low-tox, low-waste cleaning.
FAQ
What is the Norwex EnviroCloth used for?
EnviroCloth is Norwex’s all-purpose microfiber cloth. Use it damp for everyday cleaning of counters, cabinets, appliances, bathroom fixtures, walls, doors, high-touch areas and even vehicles and outdoor furniture. Used dry, it works as a powerful dusting cloth that helps keep particles from resettling on surfaces.
How does it “remove up to 99% of bacteria” with only water?
Norwex Microfiber is extremely fine and densely woven, giving it a huge amount of surface area. When used damp and cared for as directed, the fibers mechanically lift and trap contaminants from the surface into the cloth. Testing shows it can physically remove up to 99% of bacteria from a surface using only water when you follow the proper care and use instructions.
What does BacLock® do in the EnviroCloth?
BacLock® is Norwex’s built-in antimicrobial agent that helps protect the cloth itself by inhibiting the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew inside the fibers. That means the cloth is less likely to develop that “funky dish rag” smell between washes. It does not disinfect surfaces or replace regular laundering.
How big is the EnviroCloth and what is it made of?
The cloth measures approximately 35 cm x 35 cm (13.78" x 13.78"). Norwex EnviroCloths are made from high-grade microfiber, with many versions incorporating a high percentage of recycled content for a lower environmental footprint.
How do I use and care for my EnviroCloth?
To use, wet the cloth, wring it out well and wipe using even strokes, folding and refolding to expose clean sections. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly, wring and hang to dry. Machine wash regularly with a quality detergent that is free from bleach, fabric softeners and dryer sheets, which can coat the fibers and reduce performance. Tumble dry low or line dry.
Can I use EnviroCloth on every surface?
EnviroCloth is safe for most washable surfaces, including stainless steel, tile, laminate, sealed wood, glass and more. For easily scratched or special-finish surfaces—such as some brushed stainless, coated appliances or anti-glare screens—test first in an inconspicuous spot and use a very light touch.
